Clicking

I learned how to click with my tongue. When I do it I get so excited about it and just have a good time. Mom made a video from her point of view. I'm not in the focus at times because I got so excited and dived on mom.

Playing in the Tub

I love playing in the big girl tub. I have really liked it since I got to go in there but here lately I love to splash and look at the bubbles that are on me when I get all soaped up.

New Toy

My mom blew up a beach ball and I didn't really have any interest in it until the other day. I learned that it can roll and I can grab it pretty easy and then throw it and I liked it. I chased it all over the living room and had a good time.

I Love Books!!

I love me some books, sometimes I would rather have a book to look at and read instead of a toy. It makes mom really happy since she's a teacher and all. I also like to pull all my books off the bookcase in my room to find just the right book that I want to look at.

Goldfish - EWWWWW!!!!

I like a lot of things but goldfish is not one of them. My mom and dad gave me one and I have tried them a couple of times and this is the reaction I give every time. As you can hear they thought it was funny but I did not.

Late Night

One night when my teeth were bothering me my mom sat up with me while I couldn't sleep. I chewed on plugs, threw them out of the crib, bit on the side of my crib, watched some tv, and did some talking too.

Sophie's Trick

I learned how to make a cool sound with my mouth and when someone puts their hand or finger up to my mouth. My mom and dad think it is pretty funny.

Ella's Cage and Bells

I found Ella's cage and I thought it was really cool. It opens and closes and I also learned how to work it to let her out when my mom and dad put her in it. I also found her bells and learned that they make the coolest sound. They can get really loud like me and I like that.

I'm 9 Months Old!!!!!

January 1

It's a new year and I'm 9 months old now!!!! I'm growing, getting into everything I possibly can and I am developing my own personality. We spent the day just resting around the house and playing. My mom and dad were off since it was New Year's Day. I think we all spent New Year's Eve catching up on some sleep. I did have to go to the doctor for my 9 month check-up and they had to prick my finger which was not fun at all because the nurse had to keep squeezing my finger to get enough blood out. On the good side though no shots this time. The doctor was impressed with my development and my Toms. He even took a picture of them to show his daughters and he called the nurses in to show them.

Here are some things that I can do now:
* I'm walking along the side of the couch and the end tables.
* I'm still wearing size 3 diapers.
* I'm wearing size 12 months in pants for the length but they are little big around the waist.
* I"m wearing size 9-12 months in shirts and onesies.
* Still wearing size 3 in shoes.
* I'm starting to feed myself when I have dinner and mom makes me carrots, sweet potatoes, chicken, or lima beans.
* I'm trying more foods and like just about everything I try but my favorite is still ice cream and fruit.
* I say bye-bye, mama, and dada now.
* I start waving when someone says bye-bye to me.
* I weigh 18 lbs 7 oz and I'm in the 44th percentile for my age.
* My length is 28.5 inches and I'm in the 82nd percentile for my age.
* My head circumference is 17.2 inches and I'm in the 42nd percentile for my age.

I snuck into my diaper bag to get my snacks and I shared with Ella.

I found where mom and dad keep the cereal.

I found a pen and marked on my face.

I found Ella's food bowl and dumped it all out.

I found the towels and pulled them all off the shelves.

I started blowing on daddy's back and made him laugh.

Then I got my foot stuck between the mattress and the bed frame.

I'm figuring out how to get my foot out.

I don't lay still for my mom to take the picture anymore.

Christmas Continued

December 26

On my daddy's side of the family we don't do Christmas on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day since mawmaw is usually working so we get together when she's in town. This year it happened to be the day after Christmas. We all get to eat a big meal with turkey, baked ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, and dessert. Then we get to open presents and the grandkids get to go first!!!!! So this year Brayden and I go to tear into our stuff and we got alot of the same things but we didn't realize it because we didn't open the same things at the same time. Our parents even let us start playing with our toys while they opened their gifts. It was a late night but it was soooo much fun.

Christmas Day

December 25

Today is Christmas Day and we had a busy morning on our hands. When I woke up I was pretty hungry so dad fed me my fruit and oatmeal while mom fixed pancakes. After we were all finished eating we looked to see what Santa brought and opened our presents. I had so much fun with all the new stuff. I couldn't decide what to play with first. When I started to play with one thing I saw something else that looked fun and then I would see something else. After all of that we got ready to go to church. I got to put on my pretty Christmas dress. By the time that we got back home I was ready for a nap so that I could be well rested to play with my new stuff.
